Item Description

I know that Indian Zeolites and associated species are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from circa 1973-1980 (based upon the label). It features several fine quality, spherical soft sage green color Gyrolite "balls" measuring up to 1.0 cm associated with white blocky Apophyllite crystals up to 6 mm on somewhat stalactitic growths of Chalcedony(?). Great quality overall. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites (and associated species), and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are. The piece comes from an old East Coast collection, with a label from Julius and Miriam Zweibel's "Mineral Kingdom of Woodmere", which dates it from 1973 to 1980.
