Item Description

A rare and dramatic zeolite combination specimen from the extinct quarries at Malad. Olive-green, bladed, gyrolite balls, glassy, melted-look, pink, manganoan calcite rhombs and snow-white, laumontite prisms are richly and preferentially set on a tapered laumontite crystal, that is covered with tiny, sparkly, water-clear, calcite scalenohedrons. The tip of the laumontite is contacted, but the rest of the piece is pristine. Older, outstanding material from the 1970s or early 80s and very uncommon in this combination and form.
