Gypsum with "hourglass" sand inclusions

Item Description

A classic example of the famous "hour glass" inclusions of golden-brown sand inside of colorless Gypsum from the Great Salt Plains State Park in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. This crystal is a complete doubly-terminated "floater" with no point of attachment that is crystallized all the way around. This is a textbook example of these beloved and hard to find specimens. Classic material from Oklahoma.
