Item Description
Gypsum is VERY RARE at Butte. A pearlescent, 2.6 cm blade proudly stands upright, with smaller sprays below. The sculptural, thin crust is mostly drusy quartz and the sharp, lustrous, jet-black, enargite crystals are a super accent to both the gypsum and the quartz. This is an outstanding and very rare, older combination specimen from the well-known Leonard Mine and the Robert Whitmore Butte Collection.
