Gypsum var. Selenite with Sulfur

Item Description

Attractive single crystal of Selenite, remarkably included by Sulfur. The Selenite is gemmy throughout, and the presentation side is well-formed and sharp, with the faces having excellent luster. The back is contacted, naturally, but the crystal has survived pretty well. The Sulfur has imparted a gorgeous yellow color to the clear Selenite. An unusual, pretty piece, and not very common.
