Item Description

Intergrown, sharply terminated, water-clear, gypsum crystals on matrix form a striking and aesthetic specimen from Santa Eulalia. The large crystal is 6.0 cm and is doubly terminated. Very nearly pristine, amazing for such a soft mineral. No broken crystals are noted and there is only trival bruising to a few crystals. Classic and very fine matrix Santa Eulalia selenite from the Harold Urish Collection. The older label says Mapimi, but that is incorrect.
