Gypsum (var: "Selenite") ("TV Stone")

Item Description

A piece of the so-called "TV Stone" from Morocco. Essentially this is translucent, silky, colorless Selenite Gypsum that gives a distorted / "fuzzy" appearance when viewed through the "c" axis. We took a photo of the label that accompanies the piece through the stone to illustrate the effect. I believe that both sides of the piece are polished based upon the feel.
