Item Description

A classic specimen of the famous golden Gypsum (Selenite) from Las Salinas. The piece hosts very sharp, GEM quality, lustrous, thin, "fish-tail"-twinned crystals of Gypsum which are associated with a few "disc"-like blades of golden Gypsum sitting on white/colorless, gemmy, Halite crystal matrix. The largest Gypsum twin measures 2.2 cm long and is in very good shape for the material. Please note that a couple of the Gypsum crystals are cleaved. It's still a beautiful display piece of these now hard to find specimens.
