Item Description
Canadian classics, now rare! A fat ball of crystallized gypsum forms the matrix for stout, diverging, twinned, glassy and gemmy, champagne-colored selenite crystals shooting out. They reach to 4.7 cm in length. The Red River spillway area is justifiably famous for these very attractive gypsum specimens. This is an unusually robust one, and in good shape except for a few very minor bruises (which can be helped by running under hot water as gypsum is water soluble) and one dinged tip. Valued $750
