Item Description

A dramatic and sculptural small cabinet gypsum crystal of unusual style from the famous mines at Naica. The piece is dominated by the striking upright terminated crystal, 9.2 cm tall tapering down to 3.0 cm tall and 4.3 cm wide and the impressive terminated angled crystal, 9.2 cm long and 2.8 cm wide. Some crystals are glassy, transparent with most being tan with an unusual contrasting white coating. Naica is famous for water-clear gysum blades and classic ram's horn gypsum crystals. Great form and rare style on this very fine gypsum from the Gary Weaver Collection.
