An impressive, large gypsum rhomb is strategically set on the sculptural matrix on this fine piece from the Schlichter Collection. The highly lustrous, tranlucent rhomb is 3.8 x 3.5 cm and has very nifty rippled faces. The hard and dense matrix appears to be quartz after another mineral. This rarity displays well from several angles. A must for the species or locality collector.
