Gypsum specimens from this obscure town and municipality in La Rioja Province, noted for halite specimens, are RARE, indeed. This impressive and sculptural large plate is densely covered with glassy, water-clear crystals. The dramatic back line of large crystals is dominated by the striking stout 3.3 cm spearpoint. Essentially pristine, amazing for such a soft dense cluster of crystals! Very choice and rare large material from the Natural History Museum of Alava and the Sanabria Collection.
