Item Description
Gypsum is a VERY RARE accessory species from the famous mines at Butte. Pearlescent lathes are nicely clustered on the freeform mass of solid tennantite, that contains sharp crystals, crude crystals and massive tennantite. The very sharp, doubly terminated tennantite crystal is 1.4 cm long. Rare and most excellent combination material from a deep level of the Steward Mine. Undoubtably older material, but no proof. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
