Item Description
From this very obscure Argentina dry lake bed comes a showy and aesthetic cluster of lustrous and translucent, sharp, light brown, pseudohexagonal gypsum crystals. The striking large crystal is 3.2 cm. The gypsums look like beryls in their crystal form. Very rare material from this locale from the Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave lived and worked in Argentina as a petroleum geologist. Acquired in December, 2005, according to his label.
