Item Description

Sharply terminated, well-formed gypsum crystals, such as this, are very uncommon from this well-known California district. The glassy, water-clear crystal is well-striated and has water-clear to lightly tinted faces. Amazingly, complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only very trivial termination bruising. Rare for such a soft mineral. Older material from the Jaime Bird Collection and rarely on the market in this excellent quality.
