Item Description
Gemmy, water-clear, colorless gypsum crystals form a very aesthetic 360-degree rabbit ears small cabinet from famed Santa Eulalia. The two large crystals are pristine and the largest is 5.8 cm tall. Some prism faces are glass clear, while other are striated/etched with satin lustre, adding pizzazz. The secondary crystals on one side are a fine accent to this excellent older classic from the 1960s or 70s. This is an uncommon sharply crystallized style from Santa Eulalia, as many gypsums from here are the classic ramshorn shape. Ex J.G. Dixon and Tom Wolfe Collections.
