Gypsum (fluorescent) on Halite

Item Description

Four beautiful, water-clear, gem golden, fishtail-twinned selenite blades, to 2.1 cm, dramatically rise above the undulating matrix of smaller gypsum blades on the blocky halite matrix on this aesthetic and excellent example from Peru. The four large blades have only a gentle bit of termination bruising. Highly representative material of this now uncommon gypsum. Ghostly white fluorescence.
