Gypsum floater (Wouter van Tichelen Coll.)

Item Description

An intensely sculptural, two-sided gypsum blade from this obscure locality in Algeria. The flattened spearpoint is included with tan sand. One side is essentially flat, while the other is strikingly serrated. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one spot of gentle edge rubbing. Unusual, excellent and rare gypsum.
