Item Description
When I first saw this material, I thought that that they were some of the most impressive, flashy and colorful specimens of Gypsum I have seen in years. This specimen consists of excellent, very aesthetic, razor-sharp, golden color, gem crystals of Gypsum. This "floater" crystal formed in a calcium clay/sediment and has no point of attachment whatsoever. The color is very attractive for the species as well. The material is typically very fluorescent as well! Another important aspect of this specimen is that it is NOT repaired, which makes a difference with this material. Don't miss out on what I'm sure will be considered a Canadian "classic" in years to come. Ex Wouter Van Tichelen Collection.
