Item Description

When I first saw this material, I thought that that they were some of the most impressive, flashy and colorful specimens of Gypsum I have seen in years. This specimen hosts an excellent, razor-sharp, golden color, gemmy "fishtail"-twinned crystal measuring 3.5 cm sitting atop a "ball" of dark golden brown crystals of Gypsum. This "floater" specimen formed in a calcium clay/sediment and has no point of attachment. The color is very attractive for the species as well. The material is fluorescent as well! Another important aspect of this specimen is that it is NOT repaired, which makes a difference with this material. Don't miss out on what I'm sure will be considered a Canadian "classic" in years to come.
