Item Description
A classic example of the famous Gypsum specimens from the Red River Floodway in the form of a large "floater" aggregate loaded with sharp, lustrous, gemmy, golden colored "fishtail"-twins measuring up to 2.6 cm. This piece is in great shape overall with only a few small nicks. You don't see Gypsum like this from virtually any world locality. Valued at $500. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7151). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
