Item Description
A seldom seen specimen of the beautiful and now classic golden Gypsum (Selenite) from Salinas de Otuma (formerly Las Salinas). This cabinet display specimen is loaded with fine quality, very sharp, "disc"-like bladed crystals of beautiful golden-orange colored Gypsum, many of which have formed beautiful "fish-tail"-twins crystals sitting on what appears to be dried clay / mud matrix. The largest Gypsum crystal measures 3.0 cm. Most crystals are in perfect shape, though a few nicks can be seen here and there. These specimens have vanished quickly from the market over the last 15+ years, so if you missed out on these when they came out in the early 2000s, don't miss out on this one.
