Item Description
An exceptional two-sided gypsum crystal from this quarry, well-known for excellent gypsum specimens. The stout, lustrous, water-clear spearpoint has very fine form and the smaller crystal and bit of matrix at the base add much character. The display side is nearly pristine, except for the bruised smaller crystal on the lower right, just above the matrix. The gentle bruise on the back of the termination is out-of-sight. Contacting lower on both the front and back and one side are noted, where other crystals once lay, but have no damage, per se. A very fine and aesthetic gypsum, self-collected by Paco Gutierrez.
