Item Description

Gypsum is found all over the world, but for the most part, it doesn't occur in brightly colored crystals often. The specimens from Mount Gunson Copper mines sometimes occur in bright green specimens, which are completely natural, and colored by Copper solutions. This piece is filled with prismatic strong green Gypsum crystals measuring up to 1.5 cm forming an attractive overall specimen. I actually found one "fish tail"-twin on the side of the piece, which is not common in my experience with this material.
