The Naica Gypsum crystals are some of the finest in the world, and this very large specimen is a typical example. The crystals range from 26 cm long to 12 cm across, and they crisscross on a small piece of matrix (lightly stabilized with glue saturation). The luster on both is excellent, as is the gemminess. Only very minor bruising is present, trivial in context. In fact, the shorter, broader crystal is almost completely gemmy (better than the pics can capture), and has a very good main termination. A first-rate Naica Gypsum example for a low price.
