Item Description

This species gets its name from the Type Locality of Gudmundstorp, Sweden. Gudmundite is a relatively rare iron antimony sulfide, and good quality specimens are certainly few and far between on the market. This relatively rich large thumbnail / toenail piece features small but fine, blocky prismatic crystals on matrix from this late stage hydrothermal antimony deposit in Slovakia. The crystals are <1mm, but some of them are beautiful under high magnification. A great opportunity to purchase a specimen of a species that is rarely offered for sale on the market.
