Item Description
A great Italian Alpine classic. This specimen hosts reddish orange color, lustrous, dodechedra (with minor trapezohedral modifying faces) of Hessonite up to 5 mm with dark green Epidote on matrix. This part of the Italian Alps is famous for these Hessonites and the best of them are truly some of the world's finest. An attractive reference specimen from this locality.
