Grossular with Diopside

Item Description

These specimens came out around 2000, and I have only seen two different finds of this material in that span of time. The piece features sharp, lustrous, unusual modified dodecahedral honey-orange colored crystals of Grossular with rich green, translucent prisms of Diopside on limestone matrix. The largest Grossular measures 1.5 cm, and th largest Diopside measures 1.2 cm. One of the last pieces I have to offer of this material, and one of the best ones I purchased.
