Item Description
Sherry-orange color, glassy faces with GEMMY interiors, and intricate striations are all hallmarks of the Jeffrey Mine's world-class Garnets. This attractive, single, 1.2 cm GEM crystal is blessed with all these characteristics as it can shine like a beacon against the matrix. Unlike many Jeffrey Mine Garnets that stand more upright like a dome, this Garnet is more flat-lying against the matrix, giving it a singular appearance. A nice representative specimen for this famous locality, this small-cabinet piece is from the glory days of the 1970s - 1980s.
