Item Description

One of the great Italian Alpine classics are the fantastic Grossular Garnets. The combinations of orange to red crystals with green Diopside and Clinochlore make for some gorgeous specimens. This piece is a lovely small cabinet display specimen featuring fine, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, cinnamon-orange colored dodecahedra with trapezohedral modifications measuring up to 6 mm sitting in good sized, distinct, sharp, GEMMY, rich green colored bladed crystals of Clinochlore ("Chlorite") with minor greenish-white associated Diopside on matrix.
