Item Description
A lovely miniature sized piece of the famous Hessonite Garnets (Grossular) from the Faiallo Pass area in Italy. Many sharp, well-formed, eye-catching dark brownish-red crystals, with the largest measuring 1.2 cm across showing classic dodecahedral and trapezohedral faces. No major damage that I can see. A pleasant and desirable example of these well-known and frankly beautiful Garnet crystals from one of the more famous Italian Alpine localities for Garnets.
