Item Description

A classic specimen of these well known Garnets. The piece features several attractive, sharp, lustrous, dodecahedral "raspberry" color crystals of Grossular measuring up to 1.3 cm on matrix from this famous locality that produced specimen in the mid-late 1990s. Good specimens are not common on the market anymore. A contact on the top corner of the main Grossular crystal keeps the piece from being 100% damage free, but these are some of the most distinctive Garnets in the world, and this is still a very nice example of this now hard to find material.
