Item Description
Here's a great European Alpine "classic" from one of the various Rodingite deposits in the Italian Alps. One of the most recognized associations from the Alps are the beautiful green Clinochlore and red Grossular combinations from Italy. This piece features dozens of sharp, lustrous, translucent, rich, reddish-orange color trapezohedral crystals of Grossular (variety: "Hessonite") with rich blue-green, layered crystallized "rosettes" of Clinochlore. This is a very nice miniature specimen for anyone interested in great Italian Alpine mineral specimens. This piece was collected in 1985.
