Item Description
A cute 5-piece thumbnail deal of grossular garnets from the famous and closed Jeffrey Mine Four of the pieces feature the classic and desirable gorgeous rich orange, gemmy, well-striated grossular garnet crystals. The fifth is a sculptural upright dense cluster of light orange to near colorless dodecahedrons. The largest piece, with a 1.4 cm gem garnet, jauntily rests atop diopside with a contrasting spray of white zeolite needles. Highly representative examples of the famous species and locale. From the Kay Robertson Collection and acquired in the late 1960s.
