Sparkling gem, tiny light peach grossular garnet trapezohedrons line a 2.5 cm vug in the miniature matrix on this RARE specimen from an obscure belt of nephrite (type of jade) deposits in serpentinite on the island nation of Taiwan. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 7703 and acquired from the Cisneros's in 1975. She recently passed away in 2020. How often do you see antique old Taiwan (China) minerals?
