Beautiful, brilliant, gemmy, dark red hessonite crystals to 5 mm richly cover the vuggy matrix and are very nicely accented with silvery-green, clinochlore lamellae on this showy and excellent specimen from a classic Italian locale - Carboneri in the Pellice Valley.
