Grossular Garnet (Set of 2)

Item Description

This is a colorful set of saturated orange grossular garnet from a very rare find in the Malakand area of Pakistan. We have a large thumbnail sized crystal cluster, and a thumbnail sized complete crystal: Small one is 2.2 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm, the larger 3.2 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm. With really bright color and luster, these are somewhat unusual garnet crystals for this part of the world. Valued at $1000-1200, based on what they would be worth if they were Canadian garnets of this quality, anyhow.
