Grossular Garnet & Diopside (classic combo)

A showy combination specimen from Eden Mills. Gemmy and lustrous, cinnamon to root beer-brown, grossular garnets to 1.1 cm are nicely clustered on the end of crystallized diopside matrix. The garnets are textbook dodecahedrons and have striking points of orange fire. Periphery wear is noted, but this remains classic, highly desirable combination material from this very well-known locale.
