Item Description

Classic, reddish-orange to lustrous, reddish-brown grossular garnet crystals are embedded on four sides of the mounded matrix of solid, crystallized garnet on this showy specimen from the famous Eden Mills Quarry of Vermont. The largest garnet is 2.2 cm, which is large for the locale. Bruising is noted, but this remains an extremely rich and showy, older example of the species and famous locale.
