A beautiful, 1.4 cm, translucent, raspberry-red, compound, grossular garnet is very aesthetically set on the matrix plate and is surrounded by smaller garnets and lustrous, translucent, tannish-yellow, vesuvianite crystals on this showy and excellent piece from the mid-1990s finds at the well-known Lake Jaco deposit of Mexico.
