Grossular Garnet

Grossulars have been found around the world in a fairly wide range of colors. You'll see stones that literally range from red to green with various shades in between. Starting in the early 2000s, a discovery of these amazing Grossulars was made in Mali, which still stands as one of the great Grossular discoveries in recent years. This material made a big splash on the market producing larger stones with strong colors. This particular stone has a soft pastel green hue with a "Round Brilliant" cut. Upon close inspection, there almost appears to be some slight "horsetail" inclusions, similar to those found in the highly desirable Demantoid Garnets from Russia and other places in the world.
