Grossular Garnets are found around the world in a fairly wide color range. You can find gems the range from red to green with various shades in between. Several years ago, there was a discovery of excellent gem quality Grossulars in Mali, which still stands as one of the better Grossular discoveries in recent years. This material made a big splash on the market producing larger stones with strong colors. This particular stone has a beautiful greenish-yellow color with virtually eye clean clarity and a standard "Checkerboard Round Brilliant" cut. A nice bright stone for any Garnet collector
