Item Description
Sharp, lustrous, moderately translucent, mottled brown, grossular garnet dodecahedrons to 2.3 cm are attractively set in the mounded matrix of quartz and feldspar. The previous dealer label has Hanover, Oxford County as the locality. If true, this is a very rare and desirable garnet from this obscure Maine locality.
