Grossular (ex Stoudt)

Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of Grossular Garnet from Cochise County, Arizona. The label from David and Emily Stoudt says that it's from the Benson District, but I can't find a listing for Grossular from this area on any database. It remains as a lovely miniature display specimen featuring a 2.5 cm, sharp, deep reddish-brown colored dodecahedron on matrix. It's a fairly good quality crystal overall, and would make a great addition to a Garnet suite, an Arizona collection or a miniature suite.
