Item Description

The Jeffrey Quarry has produced some of the most distinctive and magnificent quality Garnet crystals extant. These "Cinnamon" Grossulars from Jeffrey are known for their unique orange color, gemminess, top luster and superb "textbook" form. This specimen is features great quality, sharp, highly lustrous, orange color, gemmy, striated dodecahedral crystals. The crystals are like pieces of glass as many are nearly 100% transparent. The largest crystal measures 7 mm across. This material is no longer being found as the Jeffrey Quarry is completely defunct and will not produce these specimens again.
