Grossular

Item Description

A classic example of the well known crystals of Grossular from the famous locality at Sierra de Cruces (often erroneously labeled as coming from Lake Jaco). This piece shows excellent, dodecahedral from with notably sharp and lustrous faces and a soft greenish-brown hue. The piece is nearly complete on all sides and is what I would almost call a "floater", save one contact on the bottom, Garnet crystals rarely reach this size with such excellent form, sharpness and luster.
