Item Description

A wonderful specimen of the rare sodium calcium manganese arsenate from the Type Locality in Switzerland. The piece hosts micro brownish-red crystals of Grischunite on host rock matrix. The Falotta Mine was an important deposit that yielded important manganese ore for both WWI and WWII. Ex Paolo Matioli Collection.
