Item Description

An impressive large specimen of massive laminated willemite from the famous Franklin area. Striking portions of the blocky piece are very glassy, quite gemmy, with vivid colors ranging from apple-green to honey-yellow. The gemminess and banding are very noteworthy and uncommon. Rich zinc ore at 1253 grams or 2.8 kilos....but this was HIGHLY valued by the oldtime collectors for the locality. This is older material from the Dennis Mullane Collection. Fluorescent, as a bonus.
