Item Description
A rare feldspar from Kenya, this is a superb faceted stone of feldspar species (it happens to be oligoclase). This gem has a saturated minty bluish-green color and is eye clean. Precision cut to give it a very fiery appearance. This is a gorgeous, clean, 3.33 carat stone with color and brightness that make it good enough to mount for wear. Cut by Coast to Coast. From the older worldwide rarities suite of the Jim Houran gem collection, before he started focus on USA species and gems. Valued $500-plus.
