Green Heulandite (included with Celadonite)

I never tire of looking at Indian zeolites. Sure, you might see a fair number of them on the market these days, but the vast majority of them are the finest examples of their respective species ever found. This Heulandite specimen is a nice change of pace as the crystals are a fantastic strong bluish-green hue which is caused by Celadonite inclusions. The crystals have formed into sharp, smooth, pearly / lustrous groups measuring up to 4.1 cm with only a minor bit of matrix on the back. Each Heulandite group has a graceful curvature which gives the piece three-dimensional depth and almost creates the illusion that it's something organic. Very little damage, only a few slight imperfections, but it's so showy that it's easily forgiven. Priced in the inventory at $950.
